A Little History...
A grassroots group of Lyons area residents came together in October, 2007 to organize an impartial, philanthropic foundation called The Lyons Community Foundation serving the Greater Lyons Area. This foundation is a fund of the Community Foundation serving Boulder County with a local advisory board made up of area residents.
The Lyons Community Foundation Exists To...

Build a culture of giving
Through philanthropy, LCF connects people who care with causes that matter. Involved citizens create strong community. The LCF provides an avenue for people to give and engage, making Lyons a better place to live.

Improve the quality of life in Lyons
Through your financial contributions and the community support grants, we are able to:
-
Provide human services such as the local food pantry
-
Connect the community through community events
-
Invest in our youth through a generous scholarship fund and grants
-
Support local ecology initiatives

Encourage positive change
Positive change happens when determined groups of people come up with ideas and make them happen. Many are able to see their projects to fruition with the support of the Lyons Community Foundation grants.
